    Default Blades

Just bought a blade bait mold from do-it. I have a few questions about powder painting them. Do I need to do anything to make the paint stick to the blade better? Do I need to bake them the same way I do jigs? Thanks for any guidance!

Before you paint them if they feel oily just wipe them off real good and they will paint good. I use to make hangers from paper clips and heat them in the oven, once they were up to heat I would reach in with some needle nose and dip them in the fluid bed. You can get a good rhythm going and do lots of them in one batch for curing. Just keep the paint as then as you can by dipping fast. To much paint and it will take from the action of the blades. Good luck

X2 - I've learned to brush tap them but for ones with the same color base coat the fluid bed is best to do it.
