Mounted on 16 quart Igloo ice chest. The rectangular chest fits in my boat better than the round containers.

I liked your idea so much I made this one today. I used a 12qt Igloo cube with a 500gph live well pump. I like the cube because it has a compartment in the lid.

    Saute86,

Would you mind listing the parts you used? I would like to copy if you dont mind. That looks great!

1st time I've saw this. Thinking I'll like that real well. Just put it on my wish list.

You can get a kit at academy. I did find out today not to run it for longer than 30 minutes it will raise the water temp. I built another one with an aqua-life. It was nice to have the lid compartment for the storage of extra hooks, weights, pliers, and slip knots.

You could wire in a timer switch, they don't cost much. I think the slowest mine runs is 30 seconds on, 5 minutes off.. which would be about perfect for minnows on a "nice" day. Hot days you can turn it up.

Did you get that as a kit, or did you just buy the parts needed to make it?

i did the same thing to a cooler as the original poster about two years ago i used a frabill pump that i think does not supply enough air to the air stone? but maybe that juts mine? any ways i am thinking of doing the same one as satue86 but the one i was going to do it with said it was for live wells for like keeping bass alive? i am not keeping bass i am keeping minnows.. i did buy a areobait bait bucket from a local shop best investment i made for a wile there. till i came up with the cooler idea and air stone. i am thinking the air stone on mine is juts out of date or it lets to much air out? but great ideas guys don't for get to throw some ice shaving in the coolers now and then threw out the day keeps the minnows nice and cool just a tip by the way...
