Got this Candy Blue in a group buy. Thought I would play with it a little bit. Base coat is Milk White. I'm going to try some with the Brass Transparent tonight. I'm thinking white hackle and silver chenille body. Comments as always are welcomeName: 001.jpg

Me too, but your not having problems with your eyes looking at it. It's blurry. The pic was taken with my phone and only one cup of coffee this morning

That's a good blue, but it gets to thick when dipping the head a lot of the times. You can "thin" it some more with a clear mixture. If you're going to use it over any colors, do it sparsely, just heating your head enough to make light taps just stick and not melt right away.

thanks Microp, I thought it looked heavy too. I cut it 50% with clear. I may have to cut it some more. Is there a proven ratio? I thought at first maybe it was just the blue, but not sure about that. I also did heat the jig too much I'm thinking.

I think I mixed a small batch at 10:1. Start small and test from there.
