    Default Missouri River fishing

Put in at Gasconade and fished the mouth of the Gasconade and the Mo river. Even though the air temp was in the 50's the river temp was 33 and it felt like you were setting in a frig. I caught 2 blue cats and 1 sturgeon. Husband nothing. Fish big enough for a supper. Several boats on the river today taking advantage of the last good day for a while. Ice behind the dikes so you couldnT fish some places you wanted to try.

congrats! perch! it was a great morning on the river. I was out, too and caught 6 blues, tips of the trail dikes in the current seams. nothing too big, though. was your dino-fish a big laker or the typical shovelnose? little early for the big girls but that's the right spot!

Lol I like catching little shovel nose, too, but I was hoping the big lakers were there already!
