Saw that they shut down the spillway when I stopped by there on the way home so at least the lake level should not drop much further.
Well skinner80 called me last night and we met up this morning. My day started poorly......no idea how I did it but I backed my boat into my tractor.......how you miss seeing a 'RED" tractor with 8ft drag blade on the back and a snow plow mounted on the front loader I will never know. I needed new LED trailer lights anyway.
The first ramp was iced in so launched from West Rolling Hills. It was a nice morning. Scanned a couple of areas quick this went over across the lake and fished in about 20fow. Did a little slow drifting dragging bottom with a 1/16th white litewire jig with green or green Bobby G and picked up 3 quickly.......then that was it. Saw some nice schools of fish but they wanted nothing to done with our bait.
Tried a couple of other areas but ice in the coves up north and scanning showed no fish on the piles in between.
Water was clear to about 5ft, water temp 37-39F. Saw fish in 25fow with the fish 12-18 feet deep
Still a decent day
