    Default wire spreader

    Hey guys,
Anyone had any experience with wire spreaders for spider rigging? The spreaders keep your drop lines away from your main line and look like they would reduce the droppers wrapping around the main line.

    Thanks

I just double about 9 inches of line and make a loop, passing through the center 5-6 times ,moisten and pull tight. I then move out about 3-4 inches and make another loop , passing through 3-5 times , moisten and pull tight. Then cut one leg near the knot and tie on. This leaves a double line that serves to stand the bait off the line without the bulk of a metal standoff.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and one that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.
