These are most likely bryozoans. Here's a link to an article about them on our web page. They are indicators of good water quality. Bryozoans (Moss Animals) | Missouri Department of Conservation
There are kinda clear looking pods or clumps of something attached to the dock flotation on almost every dock in Linn Creek. I saw some last year but it is everywhere this year. Does anyone know what this is? Is it on other parts of the lake too?

Saw some in stockton lake q couple of weeks ago. Had marker bouy hung up in some brush and pulled up a piece of brush with a couple almost volleyball size. Very odd looking and feel wierd. Tasted alot like chicken-kidding.
Cool very interesting

A FISH IN THE PAN IS WORTH TWO IN THE LAKE
Do you think those show up as fish on your fish locator when the tree has a bunch of them on there?
They are dense enough that I would think the would provide some kind of return
Seen these things for years on Twain. Some as big as basketball's. Always thought it was something's egg's, and they'd hatch. Great to no to water quality is good. Also tell's me, the water's safe to drink. Not many peeing in it. LOL
