Longview 10-21-13

Hit Longview yesterday afternoon, fished from around 3:30-6:30. I was on main lake brush pile #3, directly across from the marina. The fish were 15 deep in 20 fow. And by fish I mean every crappie between 6-8 inches was right there. I caught over 25 fish and there was action the whole time but only 5 of those were over 9 with the biggest being 11. I used jig with minnow under slip bobber, color didn't seem to matter, I had orange and pink. It was fun catching them and my boat was anchored so I just stayed there. In an effort to weed out the dinks I went ahead and kept anything 8 or over and ended up with 15 in the basket. Beauty day to be out! Would post a pick but the uploader is not working for me right now.
