    The Marshfield Mail newspaper has an article of 3 alligators were encountered while fishing for crappie in Pomme de Terre river.

    They would have been short lived with winter coming. Wonder who turned them loose?
    There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

    They are getting more common this far north. Being a cold blooded creature I think they might have adjusted to handle the cold snaps in the depths in hibernation mode.
