    Default Wisconsin Road Kill Buck




    Check out the hooves on this buck. It was hit by a truck in Wisconsin.

    The DNR said that high protein, specifically corn was the cause of the abnormal feet.

    Has anyone seen anything like this before?

    The deer don't look like it was hit by a truck..Looks more like it was shot in the side...I've seen alot of deer hit,but none that clean...I know an animal that is caged and can't move around,their hooves will grow like that..Either way I have never seen any that long. How did this deer even walk? Looks like it would have stayed hung on undergrowth, if it was a wild animal..

    Well, for one thing, dry corn has very little protein in it, so that is not what caused the hooves to grow. I think it was prob caged, and couldn't move around much...
