    Default Fall Crappie

Fish are starting to bite pretty aggressive. Found a few crappie last night. Water temp was around 78 degrees and the fish were suspended about 8' down in 18' of water. It took me a while to find them, but once I did they bit real good. The problem was I only had a bout an hour until dark once I got on them. Next time I know where to start.

Yep, this is the most aggressive I've seen the bite in a while. I was spider rigging and one of them bit and pulled so hard I started taking on water in the front of the boat.... Good thing I had my hip waders on.

Good looking catch. It is always great when the plan comes together. Looks like now you have a plan to start next time.

You had a "Tree Shaker!" Probably had to use a 22 to kill it as well...
