Thanks for the report and pics. Those are some dandies
Headed to the lake this morning. Started at 9:00 ended at 1:30. Fished Lynn/Robert's Branch, Meca Rd, Free Ramp (220th St), Dave's Tree Line and surrounding area. Best bite was in the trees at Meca 10' deep, fish were close to the bottom. Ended up with 4 fish: two 12", one 14", and one 15 1/4". Big one was 1.5 lbs. Biggest crappie I've caught. Had to drive by Dave's to show him the slabs. He was nice enough to take some pictures of the fish for me because he said nobody was going to believe me if he didn't. After dunking him in the lake in December on accident (wink wink, because he out fished me), looks like I've lost all my credibility...as if I had any to start with.

Lookin'good. Good to see someone's catching them on Smithville.
I was out wednsday and caught 4 nice keepers in that area. Caught a few smaller ones in the 5-7' range where they were before the heat wave. The better ones were around 10' like you said. My guess is it will take close to 7lbs to win the tournament next weekend.
Must be photo shop !!!!! They were nice Alex !!
May all your live wells be full.Dave
Those are some nice fish!! Thanks for the report.
Did it get him a free coffee? Maybe just a candy bar for Alex????
Very NICE Alex!! Looks like you covered a LOT of water, but it sure paid off with those super crappie! Good job!
Way to go Alex!!
