Fox Valley Lake

Hit Fox Valley a few minutes this afternoon and this evening from the handicap dock. Had a lot of fun. First of all, I could see about 4 feet into the water. Pretty clear for this area, but that lake is normally pretty clear. Caught several small crappie, but only one solid 10 incher, a couple of small bass and some sunfish. Total fishing time less than 1 1/2 hours. Got to watch most of them actually hit. The crappie really look like pigs under water when they turn and run under water. Saw a lot of curious lookers to. All were caught about 1-2 ft down near a brush pile in about 8 fow. No big size stories to talk about, but a lot of fun, and a bit of learning I hope.
