    Question Rapala digital scale accuracy?

Anybody use one of these? How accurate are they? This one was 14 1/2"s and stout:

    Heres what the scale said:

I weighed her again when I got home and got 1.71#s then. Can a 14 1/2" fish weigh 1.74#s or is my scale jacked up ?

Hang a pound of hamburger, or some other known weight on it as a test

We must fish the same hole, I catch 2#'rs all the time. I ought to weigh em.
The best way to get to where you want to be in the future is to act like you are there TODAY.

I have carried a scale for years and don't think I have ever caught any thing big enough to get the hanger hook in the mouth.

A gun, like any other source of power, is a force for either good or evil, being neither in itself, but dependent upon those who possess it

Fluid ounces aren't the same, JR. But calibrating your scale to that could garner some interesting fish weights!!
