    Speaking of that. I need to get his schedule so I can plan my trip to KY lake in Oct. Everyone knows the fishing is GREAT first 3 days after Mr Whisker goes back on boat. The following days can usually be rated as fair to excellent.
    Crappie spawning and morels popping up at the same time. What was God thinking when he made that schedule. It's pure torture every spring deciding which to do.

    I think you should go for the morels.we will take care of the crappie

    And if the morels were up in Oct bet your butt I would be all over them. Oct I can only seem to find oyster, hen of woods, and and puff balls. I'm not a big fan of the puff balls.

    I lucked into it then. I just pulled into Moors for a couple of days.
