Go for the replica not the original
Dont know if you all know or not but here it goes.
I have a crappie in my freezer that has been there since 2004.I wrapped it as told by a taxidermist in a damp towel and sealed it in a plastic bag.My dad cuaght it at Lake Fork TX. on one of our trips and i wouldn't let the old fart eat it.:D Heres the sticker Is it still mountable or am i going to have to get replica of it.He dont know i still have it and i want to get it mounted and give it to him.It wieghed 3.02lbs.Here is the only pics i have of it.
The date was set wrong on the camera so dont freak.

I had a bass my son had caught mounted after it had stayed in the freezer for a couple of years. Don't know for sure, but it seemed bigger when he caught it, I guess they always do.
My advice would be to ask the taxidermist.
