Ask Feelay , on the Miss board, about his 20'+ ranger center console. It is big enough for a party!
So I currently have a 2013 crestliner storm 16 and the wife wants me to get rid of it to get something a little bigger where we can move around a bit more. I also troll for walleyes on a local lake with this boat and its just not big enough to move around in. I was thinking about getting a lund deep V boat but I was wondering if anyone is successful in spider rigging off these boats? I have a 18 inch driftmaster and it works great because the front deck is a raised platform like a bass boat, well it is a bass boat.

I have been in a 19' center console and it was cramped or difficult to get from the back to the front. was not wide enough around the center console
Wizard, PM Creekslick on Arkansas board. He fishes out of a Vhull just don't know what size it is. He spider Riggs and pulls cranks. I think he also does some Walleye fishing out of it. He will shoot you straight.

I have a 17' Lund Crappie Edition and it has a place for 2 seats side by side in front for just that, spider rigging although I do not spider rig my self. I do enjoy the amount of room in the boat for moving around. I did look at a 18' when I picked mine up and it sure looked bigger than just 1 foot difference. I have a friend that has a 21' Lund and that thing is huge! Personally I don't think you can get a better boat. I have had a 20' Skeeter Bass Boat and several other boats and for the kind of fishing I do now I don't think I could have a better boat!
just my 2 cents!
Triton 19xs with 225 merc pro xs has plenty of room and good on big water i had same problem as you the wife loves the 19xs she feels safer and likes the room to move around when we spider rig or pulling cranks
Had a 19 foot triton back in 2004, wont ever go back to a fiberglass simply because the lakes I fish here in PA are just a little on the small side. Although I do miss the Potomac every now and then until I look at the gas prices at the pump Thanks for the advice guys its appreciated. And why does my enter key not work on this board lol...
You're wife WANTS you to get a bigger boat??!! What a woman!
I love HIM because HE first loved me.
Lol yeah. One of the things she likes to do is when I drag her out fishing at 5am in the morning she like to take a sleeping bag and fall asleep on the boat. This 16 foot crestliner storm is a nice boat, don't get me wrong, its just that there isn't enough room in it.
I have been giving some though to a Lund Rebel 1650, since they have a crappie front deck option, also something where I can move the seats to the back to troll for walleye but my big concern is using that T bar up front for crappies.
It just seems a little weird since the front deck on those boats are lower than what I am use to on a bass boat type front deck.
