[Hoosier Hog Daddy]

I got talked into going out fishing over the 4th with a friend. Against my better judgement, I caved in , but with a game plan of getting on the water before daylight and then retreating early after catching a ton of fish , of course. Well, our confidence was greater than our fish catching ability, and as the day lingered on , we found ourselves facing increasing boat traffic. I'm talking big boats the size of the queen mary and plowing on a half plane pulling innertubes with 4 yr old kids riding on them. These guys were throwing wakes that could compete with lake michigan and sometimes that 4 year old kid was hardly visable.
I now know how it feels to be a tootsie roll in a toilet bowl, me thinks. I salute all those who braved the holiday on the water! It's gonna take awhile for me to recover, lol.

I hear you. There was an idiot on Sullivan Lake Saturday in what looked like a 2 story tall cabin cruiser suitable for the ocean. I hope he enjoyed the 2-3 minute full power runs from one end of the lake to the other. We enjoyed the 2 foot rollers in our 17 foot tracker...
