Chris: same state park pass that gets you thru the gate. Two differances, its $10 cheaper and renews on month of registration. Vs.january 1st. Refund can be aquired for permit already bought.

Craig, this isn't a biology question but I thought you might know the answer. I just got my Kansas Vehicle Registration Application (cars and truck). And it has the new Kansas State Park Passport option on it. Can you tell me if that is the same permit we've had to have in past years for getting into places with a pay station in Kansas. I'm especially interested in Hillsdale Lake. Is this the same permit I now need to use the ramps? Or something else?
Thanks,
Chris

Chris,
Don told you correctly. The Park Passport operates the same as the state park permit that sticks to your windshield and will get you in to all state parks across the state to use the boat ramps. The Park Passport does NOT get you in to Corps of Engineers parks.
