Default Got To Go This Morning

Had a chance to go this morning, I started in the middle lake where I've fishing and the bite was a little slow
so I moved to the big lake, it has deeper water down around the overflow pipe by the dam (20'). Well they were
there and biting. I did good with minnows but great with a jig. The jig was catching bigger fish so I put up the
minnow poles and just fished with the jig.
    I ended up catching 45

Here are a few of the bigger ones, over half of the 45 were 12-14"

Here's the finished results, I'll deliver these tomorrow to some of the people I give fish too.

That's a nice pile of fillets and nice looking crappie that they came from. The folks that get these must be happier to see you than a kid seeing the ice cream truck! Awesome.

Awesome job BH19!!! What size jig head were you using and what kind of jigs, did they want it slow or were they on the bottom? I fish a place with an outlet pipe in 20 FOW as well, so I hope I can learn a thing or two. Do your ponds stratefy and get a thermal layer in them? The place I fish does and it's usually right at about 10'

I was fishing about 8-10' deep, some hit it on a slow fall but most hit it after it got down and I was barely moving it, maybe a couple of inches at a time. I was fishing with these in the chartreuse.

And these jigs in a 1/16th, they're a little costly but sure hook a fish

You picture did not come thru. Last time I was out I was getting bit on a 1/16th jig and chartreuse sparkle BG grub.

Good stuff!! Yep, I really like that shape and size for shooting docks. Same color I was using. Jig heads I had were red with the chartreuse body.
