We are totally missing out. We are in NJ/Philly area through the end of this week. No disrespect meant to anyone that lives here or is from here or loves the area, but this is not one of our favorite spots. Can't wait to get back to Florida!
Looks like a nice bunch of crabs. Get your boat fixed by mid July for sure Danny Boy.

This fellow went out to HC last night (I'll be there tomorrow night).
I copied his report for ya = crabs are everywhere (and shrimp) ! ! ! ! ! !
CG1 = Take note on the scalloping ........
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
So I went shrimping Sunday night , and made a report. I went again Tuesday night, and didnt make a report(oops, sorry), but anyway got about 3 gallons shrimp and another 42 crabs. Went last night, and was a little undecided as where to go, RRB or H/C. Chose H/C, and glad I did! Got to the ramp about 10:00PM and only 1 other truck and trailer in sight, WOW. Got set up and started seeing shrimp and crabs immediately, the current was haulin' azz, and so were the creatures! There never was a big "run", but was steady all night, and the shrimp were big. Left the crabs alone, but they were there in big numbers, figured 90 was enough this week. The other boat evidently was not shrimping and came past us sometime around midnight, so we were the only ones shrimping, I could'nt believe it. Wind was steady and a little gusty, and skeeters wer'nt bad, but if they hit you, you knew it. Pulled anchor at 4:30, with a fat 5 gallons!!! Now its off to Keaton for scalloping, since its opening early, oops, after I clean shrimp. Whoever goes shrimping and crabbing this weekend, I hope you have good luck, and can pick some "intel" out of this report. See ya!!!

I know how it gets sometimes, ya sittin round the house and just can't seem to get the urge going
to get up and go.
But, as we all know, once ya get yer butt out there, then you realize it was a great decision.
That's why it's important to keep going regularly, ya get in a slump and it's hard to get back going .................
