Default Whacked A Few This Morning

Got a chance to go this morning before a storm front, it was supposed to get here at noon, I got
on the lake at 6am but it started thundering a 8am so I got off the lake. I ended up with 27 the largest
being 15". Most were caught on minnows fishing about 6' deep in 10' of water but two of the largest
were caught on a white 1/8oz Road Runner head with a Black and Chartreuse BP Jake. Water temp was
    87.5°
    The largest

A few of the better ones.

The finished results that will make some of the families I give fish to very happy.

You da man! And giving away fish that you cleaned makes you awesome in my book. You can only eat so many, why not share. I do the same.

I don't eat any of the fish I catch, I clean them and give them to elderly people on a fixed income or shut ins. I have a list of people that the Red Cross gave me that I feed.

I can't say the same. I do eat some I catch and a lot of the time I release them as I'm catching them. But I do enjoy giving some away. Down here in Baton Rouge we had a program to empty our freezers of fish or game to the food banks every fall. They would distribute to some of the kitchens in town to use to help with daily meals. I think they stopped it because the goods were not fed inspected. This was a big program and the govt. turned it into a bummer. But if we could get everyone to do what you are doing that would work. I think I will contact someone with your idea. Thanks. Danny

I give a fair number of fish away too, I like your idea of getting a list for the Red Cross that is awesome! Good job.
