Default Workin on a night move LOZ 06-13-2013

Some buddies and I worked the night shift for crappie and ended up with a nice mess. Almost all the fish were blacks 10 to 12 inches with linebacker shoulders. A few went 13 plus. Fished 25 fow tight lining and slip corking minnows. The nite bite is in full swing so beat the heat and hit em when the sun goes down.

Your the master at that night time fishing. Are you fishing brush piles or bluff areas? Do you always use minnows or have you tried jigs at time? Congrats on the nice pile of fish.

Most of my spots are typical deep summer brush piles but I have a couple spots that are on bluffs and they have really produced well for me. I always use minnows, never even tried jigs but I might sometime.
