good deal! I've switched off from crappie fishing till fall, now I fish for bream and catfish. Guntersville almost too crowded with boaters and jet skis now and I don't fish at night
Went Crappie fishing this morning for my Birthday before it got to hot(going to reach 100° today) I got on the water at 5:45am and the water temp was 84.3°. They were holding in 10' of water around some cover and I mostly fished about 6' deep with minnows but I did catch a few on Roadrunners and crank baits. I quit at 8:30am and headed to the house as the wind was picking up and the bite had slowed. I caught 27 and over half were in the 12-14" range.

I'm blessed with some great private lakes to fish and 99.9% I'm the only one out there (it's not a membership lake)
