Lake St Louis record on crappie is 2lbs 9oz and I have been trying to beat it. Went out with the wife not expecting to catch much more than a sunburn since we didn't get out till 11:30 am. Caught this 2lb 5oz crappie and the other one in the picture was 1lb 3oz. Caught some nice 10" so we kept them for some fish tacos tomorrow when it rains. I bet if I would of caught this one in the spring it may have beat the record.
