Wakarusa River ?

any body ever do any good on the Wakarusa river? I wanting to take my little 14ft boat out there. Just looking for some info. Thanks guys if so....

Nice little river to fish, might srill be pretty stained though.

My dad and I fished there about a month ago. We caught approximately 60 fish, but only 11 were keepers. The biggest fish was just shy of 13", with 3 or 4 over 12". We caught a few largemouths, too.

It doesn't take much rain for the water in the river to get murky. If you decide to fish there, be careful as there are a lot of submerged stumps.

There's a boat ramp back there (it's steep) but you get to it like you're going to the bloomington ramp. Instead of turning to go into bloomington you turn the other way and go down a gravel road. I think, it's been awhile since I was there.
