I would go to Smitville, find some timber and get busy. And be back at the ramp by 11:00 cause it will be getting crazy shortly there after.
Any help is appreciated.
I am going to get out fishing tomorrow for a few hours. Don't know where to go?? I live in Lees Summit, so Longview, Prairie Lea, and Blue Springs are close. Wouldn't be opposed to driving a little farther.
This is my first year with a boat, so are the lakes even fishable on holiday weekends, or are they overrun with speed boats?
Thanks

A FISH IN THE PAN IS WORTH TWO IN THE LAKE
I used to do pretty well at blue springs lake in the cove by the marina, with the timber--pretty calm and fish the side with the rock bluffs...took the boy out there to feed the fish and i saw 3 dead crappies by the marina? I also have done well on the other side of chapel woods fishing the rock banks, never had any luck in the trees on that side...
I agree with Double D. Smithville is your best bet, good luck and tight lines!
