    Fished Gravois Arm Saturday wo much success. Caught most of my fish shooting docks with a lot of dinks. I think if I had minnows I would of had better luck, and DABE's report confirmed my belief. Cant believe the water shot up to 70 degrees it was 60 last week. From here til October crappie fishing will mostly be at night for me but if gas stays around 4 bucks I'll be lucky to go at all.

    sometimes those dinks aleast keeps your hopes up.I know what you mean on the gas ,may be cutting out alot more than fishing.

    Four bucks a gallon just ain't right. Think a lot of us will be cutting back until to price comes down.
    Even a blind pig finds an acorn now and then.......

    I'm thinking of putting a sail on the boat and peddles on the pickup............... Gas prices make me want to eat rocks.............

    There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

    Gas killed us this weekend up at Warsaw! Back home it was 3.30-3.40 and then we were shocked when we got up there and it was $3.95!
