    Default Gills/ears 5-8

Had one of those days today, that you never forget. Caught at least 150 fish today, and the best part was 80% of them were caught by my fishing partner. At one point, she threw her rod in the floor of the boat, and said her arms hurt from reeling in fish. Funny part, is she's already talking about what color bug she's using tomorrow. Brought these home for a Mother's day fish fry this weekend. Name: 5-8-13 004.jpg

Awesome! Got some real nice Bluegill and Redear in there. That smile on her face is priceless and that picture will be one to look back on for a long time to come.

My buddy and I had a similar day on Patoka when I was a senior in high school in '96. Fished all day long in 92* weather and was wore out and caught hardly nothing. The lake was flooded bad that Spring, the spawn was late and it was about 5:30. We came around one last point and said this is it and lets go to the ramp. We hit the motherload of gills and ears! I mean the bobber was gone before you could flip the bail on your reel over. We took home over 150, so of them I could not even get my hand around to take off the hook. It was one of the once in a lifetime things. So far it has proven true. lol

Hope you can get back out there and get yourself some more. Not much more fun than a big ole gill or ear tugging on the line.

Nice job... Those days are fun that's what keeps us trying hard on the days we don't catch much. I'm sure your daughter won't forget that fishing trip.

holy moley.... those pics are enough to get me to throw the crappie and walleye crap out of my boat and get after them ears and gills. Nice job and the best part is spending time wearing out your daughter on the water. I bet she conked out before you got home...lol.
