....had some luck today.I've been out a couple times a week for the last three weeks and only caught a couple.I decided to try a small pond thats within walking distance of my house because I know it holds some crappie.Fished from shore and jigged about 6-7 foot out in about 2-3 foot of water.Within about two miniutes I had this one

Caught six all together in about two hours time. All the fish were caught in the same general area within a few feet of each other. All were holding eggs and they were still pretty soft.

On my little crappy scale it said a little over two pounds. One of these days I'll invest in a decent digital scale.I didn't even measure it's length.
