    Default Raccoon Lake Question??


    I have heardthat the lake had a fish kill last year and now has blue/green algae orsomething. Just wondering is/what is going on with it. Thought about trying tolook for some crappie on it but don't want to waist a trip either.

    I talked with a buddy who lives up there. Wasn't a fish kill there was some died cause of drought last year and the water was like black water. But he was fishing in there a few weeks ago and caught a lot nice 12" fish. Now its flooded with all the rain they got in the last 24 hrs.

    From what I understand, blue-green does not affect the fish.
