    Default Warmer weather crappie

I know that this is April and the fish a procreating. When this finishes, they typically move to the nearest deeper water to recover for a while. Do you guys still crappie catch (note catch, not fish) on into the Summer? I was looking but found no posts older than about March. I am really trying to a kid bass fishing this year (lol).

I fish them all year, when I have time. They will bite in the summer, they are just going to to be deeper.

We catch alot of our fish in the summer. I assume since you are in Arab you fish Gville some. Night fishing can be awesome in the summer time but we do still catch them during the day. I plan on spending a good bit of time summer fishing Gville so if you have a kid you are trying to convert give me a shout. We will do the best we can to convert him.

I catch them year round on Logan Martin. I fish the deeper docks and deep structure in 20 or so feet of water. Any day is a good day to take a kid fishing.

I remember fishing in late june on Weiss and we caught 42 one night throwing jigs at a lighted boathouse......it was still in the 90's well after dark that day......the boathouse was near the main channel on the coosa and had around 15ft of water off the end
