Glad to meet you & your wife on the water, the crappie gods have been very good to me have been catching more crappie then I deserve. Have only caught 1 crappie over 2 lbs, but a large black black black male it was only 14 three qtr in. long but it had shoulders and a thick thick body, weighed it 2 lb 1oz. I think the population of crappie has returned to white domination. A friend of mine caught a 2 lb 6 oz one black one the next day. Glad to meet you and best wishes. Dave
