    Default Sardis

Went to Sardis April 3 through the 6th, only fished 5th and 6th, started catching fish as soon as I put poles in water, tried catching 3lber no luck but alot of 1 3/4 maybe a 2, 2nd time trying spider rigging to speak of, and did I have a lot of mess to straighten out, missed a lot of fish saturday then the wind came up and I got off the lake as did about 90% of the others out there. Fished out of Holiday Lodge in the trees 6' down in 10' of water MINNOWS. Still Don't know how you guy's manage 4,5,6 ect poles. but I had a blast

Mongo- We fished in front of Holiday on Friday, but we stayed out of the timber. Those are some thick slabs down there. Did you stay at Holiday Lodge? We stayed at the State Park, but drove over to Holiday to launch because of the wind. Was wondering how nice the cabins were there because we are going to go back next year.

Stayed at Best Western in Robinsville ( had to donate to casino's ) Heard that the hotel/motel rooms are 40.00 a night and your getting what you pay for......I've stayed at Batesville before, that's not to bad and it's about 15 miles to Sardis or Enid from there.

Holiday lodge rooms are 40 a night not much as far as amenity wise. But are really clean especially for price and location.

Thanks 383. Are they just motel rooms or do they have kitchens? State park was $70 a night, but you get a full kitchen. Pretty nice set ups, but didn't like having to unhook the boat every time we came in.

Just like hotel rooms. Bring a long drop cord and plug your boat in at night it's what we did. It's painted concrete floors standup shower nothing fancy at all but was clean and insect free. Lol.
