Humbled the 2nd Time Out

After the great afternoon last Saturday, we went down to Norman today with high hopes, but as so often happens the fish humbled us and wow did they humble me. After fishing for about five hours we only caught two crappies and only had about 5 bites. The fish were not shallow and were not aggressive at all. I did enjoy getting out with Skeeter Dude, but it was tough. Skeeterguy and a friend of ours were out there too, but I don't believe they had much more luck than us. The other folks I spoke to had a tough day too. If it will ever warm up and start acting like Spring I believe the fish will be all over the banks. Might try Rhodhiss again tomorrow, but I'm not expecting much. Let's all hope for warmer, stable weather. Good luck to all!
