    Default made me think

Had to finish mowing, but yard was wet this a.m.

Ran down to the lake for an hour of peace and quiet till the dew burned off.

    Not a soul in sight,no boats,no traffic,no radios,etc....just the doves cooing.

    Even caught a few crappie.

    krash!!!

    A tree fell about 50 yards from me,old age I guess. :D

Makes me rethink about tying up to all those old trees left over when the lake was flooded, especially in a wind!!

I was thinking about that very thing while Ed and i were fishing truman last weekend, you wouldnt think those trees would stand for 30 years in the water,i just hope i'm not under one when it decides to come down that would ruin a fishin trip pretty quick.

I know a guy that, came in too hot after turning the big motor off. Ran up front knowing that we was headed for a collision with the tree. He had hoped to push off the tree to slow down. Well when he went to push off the tree, the tree broke off and off the front of the boat he went. He was ok but needless to say was wet the rest of the day.
