WTG you guys just make me sick. You guys are are crappie fishing gods.
Thanks for the post.
Spent two hard days at Glen. Friday there was no wind and the fish where scattered and hard to find. They where not in the brush and you could find a few on the breaks but it looked like most of them have moved out to the middle of the channel to chase shad. We grinded on them and Hairy Vetch had the hot hand. We ended the day with 27 over 13 but we never found any schools. Lots of guys where working the brush and not catching anything so we stayed away from it and kept to the channel edges. You just had to keep moving and finding the random active fish. No one color out fished any other. 80 degrees and no wind.

Day two was the cold front day. Strong NE wind that made any type of fishing hard and just ate the boat battery. We ended the day with 22, the wind really brought the fish back to the break in places. Black and chartreuse seemed to be the best color in 34 ft of water on the down wind side of the break.
