Being Summertime still, I hope you've got a sinking line and flourocarbon leaders :D. I would use a slow sinker because a fast sinker will miss Specks that may be suspended. As soon as the water cools in the Fall, floating lines and long leaders should be okay as the fish move more shallow and also just before, during, and just after the spawn. I don't have any photos of my Speck flies but these are some good ones.
Finding (and Catching) Mid-Summer and Early Fall Crappies
Crappie Candy (I tie this fly in yellow chartreuse mostly and a few in green chartreuse)
Cypert's Minnow (In addition to the fly by itself, I sometimes tie this one on a jig type hook so it will jig under a small float on the leader when I'm using my floating line for shallow suspended fish)
