Tried to do some fishing today....

Thought I could make it. Backed a quarter way down the ramp just to test it and made it back up just fine, backed halfway down and stuck. I was able tp dig myself out of it though fairly easy. Probably could have gotten the boat in but I had no cell phone service and thete was no ome else around to pull me out so I just fished from the bank for a bit and went home.

thats funny, I got there about 230 this afternoon, and saw those tracks and debated for awhile then decided against it. Ill be back in a few days with a shovel. Leavenworth state lake

Criddy, I saw you driving towards the ramp at about 12:30 Sunday as I was leaving and wondered who was crazy enough to try and put in on the snow covered ramp, unless they knew of a brush pile full of slabs. I had never been to Leavenworth Co lake before so after visiting some friends in Tongy decided to drive there and see if anyone was out on the lake. I don't think my little Saturn would have been any good at pulling you out of the lake if I happen to be there when you got stuck though.
Are there some close to shore piles that hold crappie there?

Not really any brush piles at least on the boat ramp side that I know of kust threw a slip bobber way out there hoping I'd get lucky. Have had better luck there this winter in a boat though than hillsdale.
