    Anyone know anything about a Wild Water fly rod ? Amazon has 3-4 wt combo with flies and case for 85.00

    I never heard of them, so I did a little looking. Didn't find a lot of opinions on them, but they are a fairly new company (started in 2006) and have a "no fault" warranty similar to TFO.

    Another outfit to consider: the Cabela's Three Forks 3wt combo for $90. That rod gets rave reviews.

    I think Ill go with Cabelas Wind River combo 4 wt for 119:00

    I also think you should go to Cabelas.. at least until you can get some reports on the Wild Water.

    Just got it today, the rod and reel looks great but the bag that came with it aint to much so Im on the hunt for a case now. I cant wait till I have some days off without rain.

    You don't have to have a case. Fly rods come with cases because most of them are 4-piece, and people often travel with them (also because they tend to be on the expensive side.)
