After sleeping off the hangover got to the lake at 11:30ish to kill them dam KU fish. Admittedly the started of wipping my butt, but perseverance paid off and I got the best of those dam KU fish had to work harder than I wanted to but finally got my limit around 2:30. Dam KU fish anyway!

Just to keep from further hijacking and intruding in the 'Walleye Spawn' thread I'll answer here.

Any of those crappie come from the new waypoints I shared with you?

No I didn't go to those waypoints but probably should have. I rightly or wrongly stayed with and tried working the channel edges in areas where I didn't have any waypoints looking for any shad near by.

Somehow missed ya on the lake.

I left the house this morning planning on Hillsdale with rather low expectations for fishing there and while driving south on I-35 I exited on I-435 west after thinking about maybe the hybrids might entertain me and I also remembered that ol fishydan was going to be there where I might spy on his activities and perhaps I could learn how to catch some fish at Clinton.

Iffen I was a good fisher I could sleep till the middle of the morning then go to the lake and quickly catch my limit and go home. Maybe one of these days I'll be able to quickly establish a productive pattern but after all the years at trying to figure it all out it just seems like I'll always be struggling to quickly establish a catching pattern.
I don't know for sure your boat so the two guys working the north shore near the the swimming beach cove, who I thought might be you, probably wasn't you.

For you late risers here is what the sunrise looked like at Clinton this morning and what my live well looked like when I finished.

LBM, as far as my fishing went you were right on with the channel edges, but they needed(at least for me) a bit of brush. I watched a bunch of boats fish next to me and around me and didn't see them catch much of anything. I finally hollered at an older fella to"drop your jig to the bottom of the lake, the fish on top of the brush won't bite" well, he actually listened, about 2 minutes later he broke off and heaed to greener pastures???? Heading back tomorrow sometime mid to late morning.

Oh yeah LBM, it wasn't me, I was fishing alone again, can't find nobody to put up with me for a few hours!

Chatt, your killin me! I told my KU buddies Saturday night the KSU would be like a HUGE bottle of ibuprofen walking into Allen Fieldhouse Monday night, and it was the fast acting stuff

Holy smoke! Good catch, guess my wife is right, I'm getting blinder and stupider by the day! Actually its the funky little devices with small letters and even smaller buttons guess I need to catch up with technology and get some glasses!

Today was way tougher than yesterday. Finished with 14, Chatt sent me in the direction to get the last 3, DKV is hardcore,he got there before me an was still battlin it out when I gave. A long day in the boat is tough on my old butt!
