yup, pizz poor posture....see he is a gun enthusiast, he loves the 2nd amendment, he won't come after your guns
This is a photo op. I have shot many a round of skeet. The stance is wrong. The gun is shouldered improperly. That ain't no skeet range either. I would spot him 50 shots, (maybe 75 after I saw him in action) on a 100 round robin. There are no level target shots in skeet shooting. All birds rise.

I see a yellow tip on the end of the barrel. Must be a blank firing shotgun. Notice the muzzle blast exiting to the right of the barrel muzzle.. Tell me I am wrong.

Don't know what that muzzle blast is to the right. What do you think it is?
That's a blow-off valve ...........
"Teach a man to fish = he can feed himself "
"Teach the world to fish = you won't have any fish left to eat "
Looks like the Citori model. Is blow off for recoil reduction? Never heard of one. All my shotguns are all collectables, nothing modern.

My Krieghoff and Beretta (wife's) chokes are color coded like that. Gold stripe is for improved cylinder on mine. You said skeet, so iffy choke for skeet. Maybe clays..

I am old school. My SKB barrels are engraved "skeet". Never saw a color coded barrel at the skeet range. Just didn't know, but I knew someone here would tell me.
Most folks don't know the difference between skeet, trap, and sporting clays. I have shot Olympic skeet. Didn't do too good. Too old and slow.
I don't understand the pavement at skeet range either. But then I have never been invited to Camp David. Could be they ride a golf cart from Station 1 thru Station 8.
I said skeet because that is what BHO said he was shooting at Camp David.
Thanks for the link. Lernt somthin'.
That thang on BHO is sticking out the end od the barrel and don't look like a band though.
Forgot to mention, I just change out barrells on my "sweet sixteen" ha

Cane Pole, Obviously the colors are supposed to make it easy on "us guys" who can't hardly see those "skeet" stamps. But I always forget which color is which choke and have to get my glasses anyways.. BTW my shotgun also has "ported barrels" like the one you were wondering about. (gases venting off to the right)
I guess there is a range there- Good ole IKE put it in..
"Extensive modernization of the facilities at the camp has occurred since Roosevelt's time, including installation of a helicopter pad, new figure-eight swimming pool, bowling alley, and skeetshooting range. There are now 11 residence cabins, including the main lodge, which is presently called "Laurel." The President utilizes a three-room cottage, named "Birch," as an office."

He's got all that stuff and Camp David and he flys to Hawai for vacation. The whole purpose of Camp David was a private recluse for Presidents, guess that ain't good enough for him. Hell, I'd never leave!
