I've been throwing the idea of taking a vacation day next Tues. Keeping my eye on the weather, it looks like the rain, although I love fishing in the rain, I don't love fishing in the rain in January.

Well went out this morning, with the night unthawing a little bit of the deep part of the lake, Me and the lady fished for 4 hours and the ice continued to melt, and slayed'em, started biting early and didnt stop. also caught some gill and a few bass, a nice 3lb bass on an ultralight felt like a MONSTER lol
Nothing wrong with that.
nice pic...warms me up during the winter months to see that.
