    Default Fished Monroe today

The weather was great and the wind could have been a bit more. Me and my wife went out for the day and took home 10. First time using my new Elite 5 DSI and I will say for me, I like it very much. Tons of boats out on the water in the morning and I think they were most all gone by 11:00. Last time could not get away from the shad, but this time only had one bite my minnow. Think I may bring the grand boys next week.

The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"

Thanks all. Yep, I would have gone back today also, but have to pay for the new boat and fishing toys. So back to work also. I should be able to catch more when I am all set up. I just bought an 18 foot Key Largo a last month. I used most of my budgeted money for the Elite 5 DSI and a marine radio and antenna. Need to replenish the fishing fund. Maybe in a few more mouths I will be able to get the troll motor. For now it's ride slowly looking at the Elite 5 until I see something that looks good then throw out the anchor and fish, then move on and do it again. Fishergurl, will do. If we get on the water this weekend will take pics of the boys.
