No luck at Belleville lake

Went out to belleville lake and i just could not find the crappie. does any one have a clue wheres that best place to find them.

I haven't been out on Belleville Lake since they've placed up the no fishing signs (I fish from the bank). When I was out there, I was able to get some right under both bridges. If you want, try below the dam at Sandy's Marina. A few people were catching them tightlining w/a split shot and minnows. I was going for walleye, so I didn't have any of my crappie equipment to see if I could get one using a jig. Other than that, I haven't seen many crappies come up of decent size. We caught some small ones a Hienz Park, but nothing significant.
