LOZ 12-29-12 cold and windy

put in at shawnee yesterday and that wind was very cold. not a lot of people on the lake i guess we were the crazy ones. slowest day so far for shooting. fish seemed scattered to me. the sun didnt come out til late morning. most of the early morning fish came in open water. 2inch pearl/chart. just thought i would give an update if someone was thinking about going. oh yeah we had 25 whites and i caught a bonus walleye (16 incher). not the biggest whites ive ever caught but still fun on an ultra light. good luck fishing fellers...probably see you guys the 19th if the waters not hard by then. happy new year

Looks like your trying to thicken your blood for the Jan 19 tournament. LOZ is alway tough on me when its cloudy out. I like it nice and sunny to make them crappie run under the docks. Sounds like the whites kept you busy and your mind off the cold.

well i had plans to go tomorrow but it looks like the snow and my wife are changing my plans. good luck to you guys that get out and go. I wouldnt mind knowing how you do. i will be at home thinking about fishing.

LSL- so whats the plans for the jan 19th tournament if it holds up? are we meeting at shawnee? can we pre pay before the tournament?
