Went to Springfield lake today, spent the first hour or so without a bite and then caught my first fish that was a 15" and afterwards caught 9, ranging from 9" to a little over 13", bobby garland baby shad, black/chart.

I've fished Springfield Lake, catching 9 nice keepers is a heck of an accomplishment in my book, congrats.

Good Job on staying after them, I wish I could have gotten out and chased a few, but cold got me shut down for a bit..........but you keep it up and catch a bunch.........

They love that heated area this time of year. Way to go on the slab that thing had to be close to two pounds.
