I have been waiting to sign up here until I had something to show.

Me and a buddy caught these 12-14-12 on Kentucky Lake out of Cuba Landing. There's 37 of them. Taken on jigs. At one point, we both had a slab on, brought it into the boat, they flopped once and spit the jig out. When they flopped the second time, they jumped out of the boat. Caught all of them on one treetop that had blown down.

    Let me add...

Shipahoy's thread on knots and rigging gave me an extra edge here. My buddy tied a blue/white tube jig on an ultra light and jigged it in the treetop. I tied 2 jigs (chenille & hair) with a loop knot and a half oz lead weight below. I outfished him 2:1.

Great catch, looks like only one black and the rest whites, all I have is blacks in the lakes I fish.

Good fish. Did you fish north or south from Cuba? I tested and bought a boat Friday. We tested it at Cuba and there were four boats fishing at the mouth. Saw one fish caught while we motored past.

Welcome from Middle Tennessee. Great bag of fish. My back hurts just thinking about cleaning that many.
