Well didnt catch any crappie but caught a couple bass. Guy fishing next to me caught about 10-12, lost track. Guess they liked his lure better then mine lol. Dont know what I was doing wrong, was fishing a unpainted jig head with a orange ringer body with chart. tail. and also used a 2' white grub with chart. tail.

I fish jacomo a lot.Make sure you use #2 fluorocarbon line.Pearl stingers or hand tied jigs work best for me.
Sounds like your shore fishing,if so there's a path in Ligget cove that goes all the way back into the cove.Park at new handicapped dock and go east ya can't miss path.
The bluffs by the office, throw towards big concrete thing.
Lots of good spots in sailboat cove.
Anyplace along shelter #1,look for 2 by 4s nailed in tree for a ladder lots of crappie there.
Haven't been in a couple weeks been deer hunting and hitting Smithville docks. If I can be anymore help just holler.Later
