Back to Monroe Monday and Tuesday!

I finally made it back to Monroe on Monday and Tuesday. Who turned all the floating grass loose? On Monday, we caught our 50 limit in about 7 hours of fishing. We caught 15 our first hour of fishing and none were under 11 inches. They slowed down from there and we had to work really hard for them the rest of the day.

Today fishing was easier. We caught our limit, and was pulling out at 10:30. However, the floating grass was worse. Fish bit a lot better today, but we had to cull a lot of the smaller fish. We probably caught another 30 or so that were about 9 1/2 inches. Fun to catch, but we tossed them back to let them grow some more. We did not catch a lot of small fish Monday.
